Rural Health Care Crisis

Hospital closures. The opioid epidemic. An infant mortality crisis killing mothers and babies. Medical debt crushing people in our communities. Hundreds of thousands of Tennessee families without access to coverage.

Our rural way of life is in trouble all because we don’t have access to affordable, quality health coverage.

Tennesseans are losing out on $3.8 million every day because our state legislators won’t expand Medicaid. That’s $3.8 million in federal funding going to other states when it could be directed to our hospitals and communities. Despite 63% of Tennesseans support expanding Medicaid, our legislators won’t act.

With our own hospital in Lincoln County in danger of closing, we can no longer afford to do nothing. It’s time for our elected leaders to act.

Tell Governor Bill Lee and our legislators that we need to expand Medicaid and save our rural communities!
