Senator Ben Nelson Supports Kleeb

September 29th, 2008 Don Comments off

Dear Friend,

I’ve been in Nebraska politics for well over two decades. In that time I’ve seen a lot of surprising things. I’ve seen longshots go on to become political icons, and I’ve seen “sure-thing” candidates see their best-laid plans go awry.

In all that time, however, I’ve never seen the kind of enthusiasm that surrounds Scott Kleeb’s campaign for U.S. Senate. The support Scott enjoys in even the most Republican parts of our state is simply incredible. With your help, he will be our next U.S. Senator.

Now is the time for all of us to step up. Tomorrow marks the 3rd Quarter fundraising deadline of the 2008 election. Your contribution today can deliver victory for Scott in November.

Help send Scott to D.C.  Please, donate $25 to Scott Kleeb for Senate today.

Scott will be a valued partner in the U.S. Senate.

Scott and I share the belief that solutions don’t come with party labels. Together, we will fight for Nebraska families. We will work to reduce our dependence on foreign oil by investing in Nebraska’s energy alternatives like corn-based ethanol and wind energy. Scott and I will support middle-class families by providing relief from high gas prices, rising health care costs and economic instability.

I look forward to working with Scott to put Washington back together.

Please donate $25 today to ensure that Nebraska has two strong advocates in Washington.

There is no time to waste. We have just one more day before the fundraising quarter ends on September 30th.

Your contribution will help send a real leader to join me in Washington. With your help, Scott can win this election.
Please contribute to Scott Kleeb for Senate today.

Sincerely,
Senator Ben Nelson

SCC meeting and 3rd CD CAucus

September 4th, 2008 Don Comments off
This weekend is the SCC meeting and our first 3rd CD Caucus meeting (11AM).
  • Please bring your thoughts on using technology for regional meetings.
  • Bring along anyone you think will want to participate in committees, or at least their names. Preferably, people who wanted a more active role in the party, but didn’t get elected as SCC members. We would like to bring in more people in active roles and not have a few holding many positions.
  • If there are any SCC positions open, please be prepared to provide that information and nominate someone to fill that role.
This will not be a long meeting as there really isn’t much to cover for the caucus. I got many ideas of discussion, but they were clearly CDO topics. At this time, I’m looking at a meeting right after the election, and will solidify a date as we get closer.
Remember the lunch, starting at 11:30AM, and I look forward to seeing you all there!
