Fellow Democrats……
I first want to thank everyone for their support. This is an incredible time to be a Democrat and we have so much we can do to make our state and country a better place.
Now, let me give you a little bit of information about myself, and what I hope we can achieve together over the next couple of years.
I had always been interested in politics, but up until a couple years ago, that involvement tended to center around an occasional small donation to a candidate, and arguing with other political junkies on internet forums. But, I have to credit President George W. Bush with finally convincing me to get active. Of course, Adrian Smith, and his horrible campaigns ads about how evil Democrats were, helped even more. I walked into Scott Kleeb’s campaign office and began volunteering. Soon after, I was given the responsibility of providing research to the campaign, and I helped to get people recruited to write letters to the editor on Scott’s behalf during the last weeks.

Bud Pettigrew sent information on the Cherry County Democratic Party Jamboree on August 9, 2008. The Jamboree will be held in Valentine, NE at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 400 W 5th Street. Pettigrew said, “There will be a variety of speakers and workshops. It should be a learning, fun process for all.” The agenda is as follows:
