Decline To Sign (Updated)

nunited-logo.jpgWARD CONNERLY’S DECEPTIVE “NEBRASKA CIVIL RIGHTS INITIATIVE” THREATENS “THE GOOD LLFE”

Our state has become a target for outside forces who seek to divide our communities and deny equal opportunities to our friends and neighbors.

There is currently a group of paid petition circulators, hired by a California organization, gathering signatures to amend our state Constitution.

The “Nebraska Civil Rights Initiative,” as it is deceptively called, will
create barriers for people working hard to achieve a better life for
themselves and their families.

Nebraskans United, made up of faith groups, businesses, grassroots organizations and concerned citizens like you, has come together to take a stand against amending our Constitution.

OUT-OF-STATE PETITION SEEKS TO CHANGE NEBRASKA CONSTITUTION!

  • Undercuts Nebraska’s ability to develop a diverse workforce, a key to a competitive, 21st century economy
  • Will eliminate scholarships and diminish the University’s ability to attract a diverse student body and faculty
  • Threatens women-owned businesses and funding for women’s health and domestic violence programs
  • Hinders Nebraskans’ ability to create public policies aimed at fostering “The Good Life” – fairness, opportunity and inclusion for all citizens

For more information visit the Nebraskans United web site. It is important for us to get educated and get involved.

Dear Friend:
