The Keith Neville Award and Fund Raising Dinner will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Express. The Social will begin at 5:30 with dinner scheduled for 6:30pm. The Cost will be $35 per person or $65 per couple. Make plans to attend today by contacting the LCDs at infor@lincolncountydems.org. During the March 6, 2008 meeting of the Lincoln County Democrats Lucas and Daisy announced that they plan to start a Chapter of the Young Democrats in Lincoln County. The first step is to make contacts in Lincoln County and hold an organizational meeting. Luke said he hopes the Lincoln County Young Democrats will be able to sponsor a variety of activities that will help the community focus on the needs and gifts of young people. For information contact Luke at latkinson13 at hotmail dot com. Tom Brown, Treasurer of the Lincoln County Democrats said this is a positive development for Lincoln County.
During the meeting Lincoln County Democrats also discussed the upcoming Neville Award Dinner and identifying a possible location for a campaign office to serve as a location for campaign activities this fall. Vice-Chairwoman Marilyn shared information about the upcoming County and State Conventions. The County Democratic Convention will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2008. And the State Convention will be held June 20- 22
.
On March 29, 2008 the 3rd Congressional District Organization will hold a meeting at the United Veteran’s Club in Grand Island beginning at 11 am.
